WikiPartner:Terms of Use

Welcome to WikiPartner. These Terms of Use explain the basic rules that apply when you access, read, contribute to, or otherwise use WikiPartner websites and services.

By using WikiPartner, you agree to follow these Terms of Use together with applicable WikiPartner policies.

1. About WikiPartner

WikiPartner is an open encyclopedia intended to make useful, factual, and well-sourced information easier to discover and understand.

WikiPartner may include articles about people, companies, organizations, places, technology, events, and other subjects that meet its editorial and inclusion standards.

Use of WikiPartner does not guarantee that every article is complete, current, or free from error.

2. Using WikiPartner

You may browse and use publicly available WikiPartner content subject to applicable law and the licenses attached to that content.

You agree not to use WikiPartner in a way that:

  • violates applicable law;
  • intentionally damages or disrupts WikiPartner infrastructure;
  • attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or restricted areas;
  • distributes malware, malicious code, spam, or automated abuse;
  • impersonates another person or organization in a misleading way;
  • deliberately submits fraudulent or materially false information;
  • interferes with editorial review or attempts to manipulate WikiPartner content through deceptive means.

3. Accounts

Certain WikiPartner features may require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.

WikiPartner may restrict, suspend, or remove access where necessary to protect the encyclopedia, its users, its systems, or its editorial processes.

4. Contributions

Content submitted to WikiPartner may be reviewed, edited, reorganized, rejected, removed, or published according to WikiPartner's editorial policies.

Submitting material does not guarantee publication.

Unless another license is clearly stated, contributors submitting original textual content agree that published contributions may be made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

You should only submit material that you have the legal right to provide.

Do not submit copyrighted text, photographs, documents, or other material unless you own the necessary rights or the material can legally be used under its applicable license or another valid legal basis.

5. Editorial independence

WikiPartner determines article eligibility, sourcing requirements, wording, structure, publication, correction, and removal according to its editorial policies.

Article subjects, representatives, contributors, and other third parties do not own or control WikiPartner encyclopedia articles about them.

Requests for changes may be reviewed, but WikiPartner is not required to accept requested wording.

See Editorial Policy and Inclusion Guidelines.

6. Accuracy and reliability

WikiPartner aims to publish accurate and well-sourced information, but encyclopedia content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or disputed interpretations.

WikiPartner content is provided for general informational purposes.

You should independently verify information where accuracy is important.

7. Professional advice

WikiPartner content does not constitute legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions that require professional advice.

Except where otherwise noted, WikiPartner textual content may be available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Images, logos, quotations, media files, documents, and other third-party material may be subject to different licenses, copyright restrictions, fair-use conditions, or other terms.

Users are responsible for checking the license and copyright status of individual material before reuse.

See Copyright and Content Reuse.

9. Trademarks

The WikiPartner name, logo, visual identity, and related branding may be protected by trademark or other intellectual-property rights.

An open content license applying to encyclopedia content does not automatically grant permission to use WikiPartner trademarks or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation.

WikiPartner articles may link to third-party websites.

WikiPartner does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or services.

A link does not necessarily mean that WikiPartner endorses the linked website or organization.

11. Corrections and complaints

If you believe WikiPartner contains a factual error, serious sourcing problem, copyright issue, or other editorial concern, please use the appropriate correction or complaint process.

See Corrections and Complaints.

Copyright concerns should be reported through WikiPartner's copyright process.

When making a copyright complaint, provide enough information to identify the affected material and explain the basis of the claim.

See Copyrights.

13. Service availability

WikiPartner may change, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features or services when necessary.

WikiPartner does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

14. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, WikiPartner provides its websites and content without guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, availability, suitability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Changes to these Terms

WikiPartner may update these Terms of Use when its services, policies, legal obligations, or operating practices change.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Continued use of WikiPartner after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
