Usage
Use this template for books and other substantial published works, including novels, biographies, memoirs, textbooks, poetry collections, short-story collections, academic books, graphic novels, and similar publications.
It may also be used for printed magazines and other serial publications when a book-style infobox is more suitable.
All parameters are optional. Add only information supported by reliable sources. Empty fields are hidden.
Use the basic version when only the main publication details are needed. Use the full version when additional publication, edition, or bibliographic information is useful.
Do not add unsourced claims, private information, promotional language, or unnecessary details.

Parameter guidance
name The commonly used title of the book or publication.
native_name The title in another language or writing system.
original_title The original title when the work was first published under a different title or language.
other_name An alternative or commonly used title.
image The cover or another suitable representative image.
image_alt A short accessibility description of the image.
caption A short caption explaining the displayed image.
description A short factual description of the work.
author The author or authors.
editor The editor or editors when applicable.
translator The translator or translators when applicable.
illustrator The illustrator or illustrators when applicable.
cover_artist The artist responsible for the cover when reliably documented.
series The series to which the book belongs.
volume The volume number within a series.
genre The main literary or publication genre.
subject The main subject or topic of a non-fiction work.
language The language in which the work was published.
country The country associated with the original publication when useful.
publisher The original or relevant publisher.
publication_place The place where the relevant edition was published.
publication_date The original publication date or another clearly identified publication date.
